I LoSt The Game

The title I Lost The Game comes from a game commonly found amongst youth in in the 2010s where if you announced you’ve lost the game, you win, and the game restarts and ends until another person spontaneously announces it. This absurdity finds the idea of failure as a win but also underestimation in the human experience. The idea that people want us to lose can be motivation to win for some.

In this show the artist explores a common identity within the art world, neurodiversity, but how this idea is challenged by being open about it when neurodiversity presents more invisible. Stigma is very often at the forefront as he also navigates his special interests, trusted people, and sociopolitics.
