The KMAC Triennial is a group exhibition series highlighting artists with connections to Kentucky.
These pieces explore ideas of our relationship with nature, intersectionality, and queerness. “Ritual Fires of 2019” for example captures fire and connects it to moments of queer intimacy and arousal such as the moment in the corner. Together making heated, destructive, erotic, also slightly political ideas on the power of longing for true connection within rural and outdoor cultures.
